VISION Hoke County Rugby is about creating Elite Rugby Players for the college and men’s professional level.
MISSION To promote and develop the players skills, conditioning and passion for the game while encouraging optimum enjoyment and visibility.
VALUES OPEN- clearly defining the goals of North Carolina High School Rugby Association. ACCOUNTABLE - with clear plans and objectives. COMMITTED - to the players and their development. RESPONSIVE - listening to what a player needs and then taking appropriate action. INNOVATIVE - looking for ways to expand the game. INCLUSIVE - in partnership with rugby unions, universities and local high school clubs, to develop an elite rugby side.
CORE ATTITUDES Player-centered approach: Ethics - creating a positive environment for optimum player success and visibility. Equity - welcoming players with various skill levels to the elite rugby game. Safety First - making sure the players are taught the proper way to play the game. Sharing Knowledge - have players to share information and ideas with their university and or high school club sides.
OBJECTIVE 1. Creating a Development Center to meet the goals and aspirations of elite players and to promote the game.
OUTCOMES Player pathway from U15 rugby to the U20 elite game. Player education and development. Training and Conditioning process for all level rugby players. Player support structures within the rugby partnerships. Player tracking program through video streaming. Player validation of success in earning shorts, socks and jersey. Extended player development, education and opportunities.
OBJECTIVE 2. Be a territorial leader in developing top level players.
OUTCOMES Strategic alliances with relevant partners, eg. State Rugby Unions, USA Rugby, etc… Diverse communication mechanism in place to disseminate information down to players and facilitate distance learning. Quality assurance procedures are in place maintaining the proper development of elite players.
OBJECTIVE 3. Utilize the improvement within players to reinvigorate the game of rugby in the North Carolina Rugby Union
OUTCOMES The principles of safety, equity, protection, enjoyment, and by following the laws that the game has established Professional development programs established to improve players knowledge of the game to create a possible coach within the player . Player recruitment and retention program to strengthen the North Carolina High School Rugby Association. The quality of players knowledge and skill is measurably improved. The role of each player is appreciated and valued in the game. |
